“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this absolutely amazing opportunity! Our child enhanced his ability to move through his environment safely, confidently, and with purpose."
— Parent of child funded by Dynamic Therapy Services
“I founded this program with the passionate belief that families and children of all backgrounds and abilities deserve the best therapies available. A key goal of DTS is to support and partner with community-based providers who offer unique, specialized therapies in natural settings. These therapies integrate body and mind through meaningful movement and an emphasis on family coaching. With your help, DTS is changing lives for children and families in the greater Boulder-Denver community!”

Learn About the Specific Types of Movement-Based Services Below:
EQUINE MOVEMENT AS A TREATMENT TOOL (HIPPOTHERAPY)
Hippotherapy refers to how a therapist uses equine movement during therapy sessions. The movement of the horse affects the child's pelvis similar to as if it were walking. Equine movement supports foundational skills needed for higher-level functioning, including: breath support and breathing patterns, core integration and proper function, balance and proprioception, and sensory regulation. Incorporating equine movement into a therapy plan allows for simultaneous support of the foundational skills needed to develop higher-level motor skills, and/or higher- level learning skills (speech, language, attention). Learn more about the unique effects of equine movement through the American Hippotherapy Association.
NEUROLOGIC MUSIC THERAPY
Music therapy emphasizes successful learning in a multi-sensory environment; the therapist uses music intervention to address nonmusical areas such as executive function, communication, social skills, and sensory-motor skills. Learn more about music therapy at The American Music Therapy Association or The Certification Board for Music Therapists.
ANAT BANIEL METHOD (ABM)
The Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® is a movement-based approach that harnesses the brains capability to change and create new neural pathways. This gentle hands on method allows for children to attain milestones, learn to move with ease and go far beyond what was thought possible for them.
CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION
Conductive Education is an educational program in which difficult tasks are broken down into achievable components of the task; the program emphasizes motor learning and problem-solving, and is based on the principles of neuroplasticity within the brain.
EDUCATIONAL THERAPY
Educational therapy utilizes academic interventions to target underlying learning challenges (such as sensory needs, anxiety at school, learning disabilities, executive function, or behavior). An educational therapist helps a student and their family identify these barriers and provides strategies and instruction to navigate them.
OCCUPATIONAL AND PHYSICAL THERAPY IN NATURAL SETTINGS, INCLUDING CRANIAL SACRAL THERAPY AND AQUATIC THERAPY
Occupational Therapy can support a child’s learning and growth in many ways: through sensory regulation, fine motor skills, or supporting activities of daily living. Occupational therapy that emphasizes movement within a natural setting (as opposed to only within an indoor office space) supports children to be ready for the real world! Examples include nature-based environments, farm-based environments, or water-based environments.
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment that releases tension in the central nervous system. When the nervous system is balanced, it allows all other systems in the body to work optimally. This allows the body to relax, self-correct and heal.
EARLY INTERVENTION THERAPIES: for children who show delays but who do not meet the new criteria for state funding under IDEA in Colorado
Early Intervention supports the foundational skills children need to thrive in life and in school. Recent budget changes have reduced eligibility for Colorado Early Intervention (Birth-Three Years) Services to a delay of 33% or greater. Previous criteria allowed children with a delay of 25% or greater to receive funding. Children who would have previously qualified for Colorado Early Intervention Services, with a 25%-32% delay, may be eligible for a 10-session scholarship set from DTS, with a provider who is incorporating movement as a main treatment strategy within the child’s natural environment.
